“Den Corner Summer Rooftop Party”

August 27 and 28
5:30 to 10 pm

Toshi and Yasu Kizaki of Den Corner Restaurants are the pioneers of Denver’s restaurant scene. Opening Sushi Den in 1984, Izakaya Den in 2011, and Ototo Den in 2015, the brothers were inducted into the National Restaurant Association Hall of Fame in 2015. Declared the “The Gold Standard in Sushi” by Conde Nast Traveler and “Most Respected Restaurateurs in Denver” by Eater, it’s only fitting their annual rooftop fundraiser carves out a new niche in culinary festivals.

The two-day Japanese street fair brings Denver’s culinary elite, who hold countless James Beard Awards, Food & Wine “Best Chefs”, and Bon Appetit “Best New Restaurants”, together with 20 handpicked chef/owners from southern Japan.

Instead of high priced tickets and overcrowded tents, the Kizaki’s host chefs and guests on an intimate, private rooftop with endless views of the Rockies.

In between juggling bowls of steaming ramen, hand rolls, and Yatai (Japanese street food), the party will include award-winning sakes, international wines, and beer from some of Colorado’s finest. VIP tickets are $110; GA is $90. A portion of proceeds to benefit Denver’s “We Don’t Waste”.

Tickets go on sale early June
